Living the Christian Life

Given the topic this week, our responsibilities as Christians, baptized members of the Body of Christ, I thought of this handout I used to give 9th grade confirmation students in a Lutheran Church. There were lots of words missing, and the students were asked to look up the verses and fill in the missing words. This is not an exhaustive list of verses addressing life in Christ, but seemed to cover the main points as summarized under the title below. This is not from the NABRE so some wording might be a bit different. It is probably NRSV.

What’s the Christian Life All About?
Learn – Teach – Love – Serve – Pray – Proclaim
Give Bountifully, Cheerfully, Generously
Worship – Feed – Give Thanks
