Come Holy Spirit – May 31, 2017

Brief Summary of Discussion on May 31

On Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter, day of the Feast of the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, and only four days before Pentecost, focus of the discussion was on the Holy Spirit for whom we must make room in our lives. Click on the “Veni, Sancte Spiritus”  above for the traditional prayer asking for the grace of the Holy Spirit.

Here is a link to Encyclopedia Britannica which seems to have a pretty good summary of the history and theology of the Feast of the Visitation.

Coming Up on June 7th – Special Visitor

On Wednesday June 7th, we will have a guest speaker who has two books for sale on Amazon. One is Live Humbly, Serve Graciously. Invite a friend to come along and hear what Mr. Armbruster has to say. According to the introduction to his book, he has been a member of a men’s prayer group at his church for a dozen years. Click on the image below for more information.
